Wanting to escape from the narrowness of the village we built our “Winzerkeller Zecherhof” in 1984. This wine cellar was designed according to the latest regulations and stands outside of the old village boundaries on a vine-clad hill called “Auf der Zech” vineyard.

In retrospect, this was a wise decision as our Zecherhof winery has grown from these origins and has become a popular holiday resort which has been awarded 4 stars from the state-recognized organization “Natururlaub auf dem Winzerhof” – country holidays on a wine estate.

We can offer you a great holiday in the Moselle Valley just by staying at our tastefully and comfortably furnished guest rooms, suites and self-catering flats including balconies or terraces and a wonderful panoramic view of the Moselle river.

The purity of our own wines is our heart’s desire. We ferment our white wines in the smallest of steel tanks and specialize in cold fermentation to be able to create fine wines. This method ensures that the wines are fermented very slowly and carefully.

The result of this internationally recognized improvement in quality is aromatic and impressive wines which constantly achieve the highest distinctions at wine competitions. Our philosophy is to permanently seek innovations in quality. For this reason we are energetic and ambitious in the quest for the highest quality of our own products.

Our wine-tasting tavern is tastefully decorated in Mediterranean style and you are welcome to come and taste and get to know our wines!
